08 June '06 - + 20 - 17 A Day Full of Appointments
Last week, Jenny had a full day of doctor's appointments to check up on the pregnancy. The important thing is that everything is going well, with the obvious exception of the
heart defect that they found before. We met with a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, a Neonatologist, a Cardiologist,
an Obstetrician, had an ultrasound, an echocardiogram, and toured the
NICU. It was a long and busy day. Meeting with all the doctors, we feel very confident that our son will be ok.
So, for the moment, no new news is good news.
two comments, already:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Jenny, and the little Finney-let.

Lance,
Our first daughter, Katherine, was born at 31 weeks, and spent her first month in the Special Care Nursery. It wasn’t too much fun at the time, and of course not the way you imagine things starting out, but now it seems like such a little part of her life.
In any instance, I’ll echo Scott’s prayers for you, Jennny, and your son.
